Circle Limo

Halloween was an exciting day at Circle Center Grade School in Yorkville District 115.

In the morning, Anthony Ordonez (first grade) and Kendyl Chesney (third grade) were picked up from their house in a limousine donated by Jen's Limo Service in Yorkville.

Dr. Tim Shimp, Yorkville Superintendent and Mrs. Hamm, the school's principal, were excited to greet students at their homes. In the afternoon two kindergarten students, Charleigh and Lainey Breen were also brought home in a limousine.

Mrs. Hamm and Mrs. Anderson (Assistant Principal) rode with the girls home.

These students were treated extra special as a prize for being the top three sellers in Circle Center's PTO pie fundraiser.

This is one of the biggest fundraisers for CCGS and $7,856.00 will go directly to the school's PTO.

This money will be used to purchase a variety of items for teachers such as flexible seating, technology, playground equipment, author visits, and much more.

The top sales went to Anthony with 40 pie sales, followed by Kendyl with 38 pies, and finally Charleigh and her sister Lainey sold 32 pies.
