A community panel discussion on drugs and mental health for teenagers will be held at Plano High School on Monday, April 29th.
Local police, hospital and mental health representatives as well as officials from the Plano School District Administration and the Kendall County State's Attorney's Office will be on hand to answer questions.
Attendees will learn about the latest challenges that are facing students in school and in local neighborhoods.
A mock teenager's bedroom will be set up to help look for things that may seem innocent to some, but have dangers and warning signs.
The panel discussion will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the mock bedroom will be set up from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Contact Plano High School Assistant Principal Julie Adelmann or Social Worker Kelly DeGarmo with any questions about the event.
