The Kaneland High School Theatre department is proud to present their 2019 fall play: Twelve Angry Jurors.
Based on the 1957 film, the play centers around the deliberation of 12 jurors in a capital murder case. While the verdict appears open and shut, all twelve individuals must agree and that is proving hard to do.
Junior Rob Luedtke, playing Juror No. 8 says, “The message that this show has to offer is moving. We get to tell this story that was written fifty years ago and is still so relevant to today.”
First time performer, Sophomore Sarah Janito, playing Juror No. 7 says, “It’s exciting because I get to be involved in something like this, and I love spending time with the cast.”
Performances take place on November 1st and 2nd at 7:30 pm and November 3rd at 2pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children, and KHS students with their school ID get in for free.
