The Kendall County Sheriff's Office found six violent or sex offenders living in Kendall County to be possibly out of compliance following multi-jurisdiction check on compliance last week.

Investigators from five police agencies in Kendall County checked compliance on 68 offenders. Agencies involved included the Yorkville Police Department, Plano Police Department, Plainfield Police Department, Kendall County Sheriff's Office, and the United States Marshals Service.

Investigations into the offenders potentially out of compliance are ongoing.

Kendall County Sheriff Dwight Baird says that his office will continue to perform regular compliance checks on sex offenders and violent offenders. He says the sheriff's office is fortunate to have great, working relationships with local and federal law enforcement agencies.
