Another juvenile has been arrested at an Oswego junior high for allegedly bringing a knife to school.
The Oswego Police Department says a male juvenile from Oswego was charged on Friday with Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon. He was arrested at Plank Jr. High School around 11:40 a.m. Police say the knife was a pocket knife.
Earlier this month on October 10th, a female juvenile from Montgomery was arrested at the school on the same charge after she allegedly had a knife found in a backpack.
Plank Jr. High also had threatening writing found on a bathroom wall earlier this month and a student was arrested in connection with that incident.
Officials in SD308 released a statement earlier this week warning of consequences of sharing threatening images over social media or text messages.
Since late September, multiple threat incidents have occurred at Plank, Oswego High School, Thompson Jr. High and Traughber Jr. High.
