Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a theft incident that occurred in Newark on Jan. 3.

According to a report, deputies responded to the 0-99 blk. of W. Front St. at around 1:11 p.m. on Thursday to investigate.

The incident is thought to have occurred at some point between 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 3.

The victim reported that furniture, electronics and personal items were taken from their residence.

An investigation is on-going.

A Montgomery woman was arrested for two counts of Domestic Battery following an incident in Boulder Hill on Thursday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 0-99 blk. of Amesbury Rd. at around 8:05 p.m. to investigate.

Upon arrival, deputies arrested 36-year-old Jennifer Zima of Montgomery for two counts of Domestic Battery.

Zima was transported to the Kendall County Jail for booking.

A Boulder Hill man was arrested for Violation of an Order of Protection following an incident in Boulder Hill on Thursday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 0-100 blk. of Ingleshire Rd. at around 10:08 p.m. to investigate.

Upon arrival, deputies arrested 26-year-old Kyle Rhoden of Ingleshire Rd. for Violation of an Order of Protection and Resisting a Peace Officer.

Rhoden was transported to the Kendall County Jail for booking.

Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a retail theft incident that occurred near Oswego on Thursday.

According to a report, deputies responded to the 1000 blk. of Rt. 30 at around 1:56 a.m. to investigate.
