Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a criminal damage to property incident that occurred in Plano at some point between Monday and Thursday.

According to a report, deputies responded to the 1400 blk. of Tyler Rd. at around 8:43 p.m. on Thursday to investigate.

The complainant reported damage to several motorized vehicles on the property.

An investigation is on-going.


Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a theft incident that occurred in Boulder Hill at some point between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.

According to a report, deputies responded to the 0-99 blk. of Marnel Rd. at around 7:53 p.m. to investigate.

While on scene, deputies learned that a bicycle had been stolen from outside of the residence.

An investigation is on-going.


LaSalle County Sheriff's Office:

An Ottawa man was arrested for DUI and was issued several traffic citations following a single-vehicle accident near Earlville on Sunday.

According to the LaSalle County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the area of Union St. and Grove St. at around 5:40 p.m. to investigate an accident report.

Deputies found that a vehicle being driven by 28-year-old Christopher Kummer of Charles St. allegedly left the roadway to the south and struck a utility pole.

Officials say that Kummer allegedly left the scene on foot.

Kummer was stopped by Earlville EMS and was transported to St. Paul Hospital for treatment.

Upon their arrival at the hospital, deputies arrested Kummer for DUI; he was additionally cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Driving While License Suspended or Revoked.

Kummer was released with a notice to appear in court


Sandwich Police Department:

A Sandwich woman was arrested for Criminal Trespass to Property following an incident in Sandwich on Monday.

According to the Sandwich Police Department, officers were called to the 700 blk. of E. 3rd St. at around 6:24 p.m. to investigate.

Upon investigation, officers arrested 26-year-old Jessica Wilson of Doris Rd. for Criminal Trespass to Property.

Wilson posted bond and was released with an upcoming court date on Jul. 23.
