Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating a theft that occurred in Boulder Hill on Thursday.

According to a report, deputies responded to the 0-99 blk. of Eastfield Rd. at around 6:35 p.m. to investigate.

No further information was provided.


LaSalle County Sheriff's Office:

A Marseilles woman was injured and was transported to an area hospital following a single-vehicle rollover accident north of Marseilles on Thursday.

According to the LaSalle County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the area of N. 2950th Rd. and E. 25th Rd. at around 4:25 p.m. to investigate.

Deputies found that a vehicle being driven by 56-year-old Kim Kofoid of Marseilles was traveling eastbound on N. 2950th Rd. and left the roadway after passing another vehicle.

Kofoid allegedly lost control of her vehicle, striking a culvert and causing the vehicle to roll several times after becoming airborne.

Marseilles EMS transported Kofoid to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ottawa to be treated for injuries.

No other injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.


Oswego Police Department:

Officials with the Oswego Police Department are currently investigating a burglary to motor vehicle incident that occurred on Thursday.

According to a press release, the incident occurred in the 0-100 blk. of Stonehill Rd. and was reported to officers at 10:33 a.m.

The victim reported that a window was broken on her vehicle and her purse was stolen while it was parked at the location.

An investigation is on-going.


A 13-year-old female juvenile was arrested for Disorderly Conduct following an incident at Traughber Jr. High School on Wednesday.

According to the Oswego Police Department, officers responded to the school in the 500 blk. of Colchester Dr. at around 8:00 a.m. to investigate.

No further details on the incident were provided; an investigation is on-going.
