Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

Minor injuries were reported in a single-vehicle accident near Oswego on Thursday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 5400 blk. of Rt. 34 at around 5:46 p.m. to investigate a report of a vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver of the vehicle, a 58-year-old Aurora woman, refused medical attention.

Officials say a juvenile passenger was treated on the scene by Oswego EMS for non-life threatening injuries.

No citations were issued.

LaSalle County Sheriff's Office:

A Leland woman and a passenger in her vehicle were both injured following a single-vehicle accident in Somonauk on Wednesday.

According to the LaSalle County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 2400 blk. of N. 46th Rd. at around 9:29 p.m. to investigate.

Upon arrival, deputies found that 18-year-old Gia Vidito of Leland lost control of her vehicle, causing it to go off the roadway.

Both Vidito and a female juvenile passenger in her vehicle were transported to Valley West Hospital to be treated for injuries.

No citations were issued.
