DeKalb County Sheriff's Office:

A Plano man was arrested for two counts of DUI following an incident near Sandwich on Sunday.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle being driven by 28-year-old Douglas Boring of River Rd. for improper lane usage and failing to signal in the area of S. County Line Rd. and S. Main St. at around 3:01 a.m.

Upon investigation, deputies arrested Boring for two counts of DUI; he was additionally cited for Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Signal and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol.

Boring was transported to the Sandwich Police Department for booking, where he later posted bond and was released.

Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating a battery incident that occurred near Yorkville on Sunday.

According to a report, deputies were dispatched to the 9000 blk. of Rt. 34 at around 12:04 a.m. to investigate.

Deputies found that a battery occurred between two juveniles in the parking lot of a business.

An investigation is on-going.

Kendall County Sheriff's deputies responded to a domestic battery incident in Boulder Hill on Saturday.

According to a report, the incident occurred in the 0-99 blk. of Stratford Rd. at around 7:00 p.m.

Deputies found that a domestic battery occurred between two juvenile siblings.

No charges were filed and no injuries were reported.

A juvenile male was referred to court services following a domestic battery incident in Boulder Hill on Saturday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the 0-99 blk. of Sonora Dr. at around 7:14 p.m. to investigate.

No injuries were reported; an investigation into the incident is on-going.

Montgomery Police Department:

An Aurora man was arrested for Domestic Battery following an incident in Montgomery on Apr. 8.

According to the Montgomery Police Department, officers responded to the 2100 blk. of Rochester Dr. at around 9:25 a.m.

Upon investigation, officers discovered that 30-year-old Carlos Barriga of Walcott Rd. allegedly kicked a family member.

Barriga was arrested for Domestic Battery and was transported to the Kane County Jail for booking.

Oswego Police Department:

An Oswego woman was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property following an incident in Oswego on Saturday.

According to the Oswego Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 200 blk. of Devoe Dr. at around 10:22 p.m. to investigate.

Upon investigation, officers arrested 39-year-old Monika Lefanowicz of Devoe Dr. for Criminal Damage to Property.

Lefanowicz was transported to the Oswego Police Department for booking, where she was given a personal recognizance bond and was released with a May 7 court date.

Yorkville Police Department:

Officials with the Yorkville Police Department are currently investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on Friday.

According to a report, officers responded to a business in the 1600 blk. of N. Beecher Rd. at around 4:20 p.m. to investigate.

A 24-year-old Sheridan woman reported to officers that her vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle while it was parked at the business.

No injuries were reported; an investigation is on-going.

Officials with the Yorkville Police Department are currently investigating a theft of mislaid property incident that occurred on Saturday.

According to a report, officers responded to a business in the 100 blk. of E. Veterans Pkwy at around 5:14 p.m. to investigate.

The victim reported that he accidentally left his Apple watch, valued at over $500, at the business at some point between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Upon returning to the business, the watch was gone.

An investigation is on-going.
