DeKalb County Sheriff's Office:

A Sheridan man was arrested for DUI following an incident near Sandwich on Sunday.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle being driven by 23-year-old Daulton Murphy of N. 4329th Rd. for improper lane usage and disobeying a stop sign in the area of S. County Line Rd. and Gletty Rd. at around 12:46 a.m.

Upon investigation, deputies arrested Murphy for DUI; he was additionally cited for Improper Lane Usage and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

Murphy was transported to the DeKalb County Jail for booking.

A Yacolt, Washington man was arrested for DUI and DUI over .08 following an incident south of Cortland on Saturday.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle being driven by 26-year-old Serghei Neculcea of N.E. Rotschy Rd. for improper lane usage in the area of Somonauk Rd. and Keslinger Rd. at around 5:27 a.m.

Upon investigation, deputies arrested Neculcea for DUI and DUI over .08.

Neculcea was transported to the DeKalb County Jail for booking procedures.

Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

A homeless man was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property following an incident in Boulder Hill on Saturday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 0-99 blk. of Hillstone Rd. at around 9:02 p.m. to investigate.

Upon arrival, deputies found that 34-year-old Roy Mack Miller Jr. allegedly damaged a screen door to a residence.

Deputies arrested Miller Jr. for Criminal Damage to Property and transported him to the Kendall County Jail for booking.

A Plainfield man was injured in a motorcycle accident near Plattville on Sunday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the area of Ashley Rd. east of Chicago Rd. at around 1:37 p.m. for the report of a motorcycle accident.

Upon arrival deputies found that 57-year-old Bryon Polzin of Klinger Ln. lost control of his motorcycle while traveling southbound on Ashley Rd.

Polzin sustained minor injuries from the accident was was transported by Bristol Kendall Paramedics to Morris Hospital for treatment.

No citations were listed.

A Joliet woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident near Minooka on Sunday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the Public Safety Center for a desk report for an accident that occurred at the intersection of Ridge Rd. and Rt. 52 at around 5:01 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies found that a vehicle being driven by a 69-year-old Minooka man allegedly failed to reduce speed and struck a vehicle being driven by 56-year-old Linda Lynch of Angelica Cir.

Lynch reported pain in her neck and drove herself to the hospital after making the report.

No citations were listed for either driver.

Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating a hit and run that occurred near Yorkville on Sunday.

According to a report, deputies responded to the 10000 blk. of River Rd. at around 8:41 p.m. to investigate.

Upon investigation, deputies found that a red four-door vehicle traveling eastbound on River Rd. crossed the center line and allegedly struck the mirror of a vehicle traveling westbound on River Rd.

An investigation is on-going.

LaSalle County Sheriff's Office:

An Earlville man was arrested for DUI following an incident near Wedron on Sunday.

According to the LaSalle County Sheriff's Office, deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by 26-year-old Nathan Keck of E. 1251st Rd. in the area of Rt. 23 and N. 36th Rd. at around 1:57 a.m.

Upon investigation, deputies arrested Keck for DUI; he was additionally cited for No Valid Driver's License, Operating a Vehicle with Expired Registration and Obstructing a Peace Officer.

Keck was released from the scene with a notice to appear.

Oswego Police Department:

Officials with the Oswego Police Department are currently investigating a burglary to motor vehicle accident that occurred at some point between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

According to a report, officers responded to the 600 blk. of Mansfield Way at around 8:08 a.m. to investigate.  

Upon arrival, the victim reported to officers that a window was smashed and a purse was stolen from their vehicle.

The purse was later recovered.

Plano Police Department:

A Sheridan woman was arrested for Retail Theft following an incident in Plano on Saturday.

According to the Plano Police Department, officers responded to a business in the 6800 blk. of Rt. 34 to investigate.

Upon arrival, officers found that 27-year-old Brooke Shelly of Robinson St. allegedly attempted to take items from the store without paying for them.

Shelly was arrested for Retail Theft and was transported to the Plano Police Department for booking.
