Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

An Aurora man was arrested for DUI - Drugs following an incident near Oswego on Sunday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle being driven by 46-year-old Taurus Miller of N. May St. in the area of Rt. 126 and Schlapp Rd. at around 12:24 p.m. for improper lane usage.

Upon investigation, deputies arrested Miller for DUI - Drugs and Driving While License Revoked; he was additionally cited for Improper Lane Usage.

Miller was transported to the Kendall County Jail for booking procedures.

Mendota Police Department:

A Mendota man was arrested Thursday on a LaSalle County Failure to Appear warrant for Criminal Sexual Abuse.

According to the Mendota Police Department, officers arrested 19-year-old Joseph Patterson of Guiles Ave. at around 7:06 p.m.

Patterson was transported to the Mendota Police Department where he was processed; he was later transported to the LaSalle County Jail for booking procedures.

A Mendota man was arrested for No Valid Driver's License and Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle following an incident in Mendota on Saturday.

According to the Mendota Police Department, officers arrested 19-year-old Henry Thompson of 22nd St. at around 2:46 a.m.

Following the arrest, Thompson was transported to the Mendota Police Department; he was released with a May 7 court date.

Oswego Police Department:

Officials with the Oswego Police Department are currently investigating a criminal damage to property and theft incident that occurred on Thursday.

According to a report, officers responded to the 500 blk. of Pineridge Dr. N. at around 6:54 p.m. on Friday to investigate. The incident is thought to have occurred at some point between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Around $430 in property was reported stolen; around $820 in property was reported damaged.

Officials say the suspect is described as a black female who is around 28-years-old old, 5'1'', 135 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

No further details were reported.

Officials with the Oswego Police Department are currently investigating a domestic battery incident that occurred on Sunday.

According to a report, officers responded to the 200 blk. of Devoe Dr. at around 12:45 a.m. to investigate.

Upon arrival, officers arrested 29-year-old Anthony Ballance of Oswego for Domestic Battery.

No injuries were reported.

Sandwich Police Department:

A Bristol man was arrested for DUI following an incident in Sandwich on Thursday.

According to the Sandwich Police Department, officers arrested 26-year-old Anthony Buchanan of Bristol at around 9:36 p.m.

Buchanan was able to post bond and was given an Apr. 22 court date.

A Sandwich man was arrested for DUI following an incident in Sandwich on Thursday.

According to a reported, officers arrested 71-year-old Mark Bruce of Elm St. for DUI.

Bruce posted bond and was released with an Apr. 22 court date.

A Plano man was arrested for DUI following an incident in Sandwich on Mar. 15.

According to the Sandwich Police Department, officers arrested 22-year-old Jacob Thulin at around 2:37 a.m.

Thulin posted bond and was released with an Apr. 15 court date.

Yorkville Police Department:

An Oswego man was injured, but refused transportation to an area hospital, following an incident in Yorkville on Saturday.

According to the Yorkville Police Department, officers responded to the area of Mill Rd. and Big Rock Rd. at around 8:38 p.m. to investigate.

Upon arrival, officers found that a vehicle being driven by a 24-year-old Oswego man was eastbound on Mill Rd. east of Big Rock Rd.

The man's vehicle ran off the roadway to the south and then over-corrected, causing the vehicle to run off the roadway to the north.

Officials say the man's vehicle over-corrected causing the vehicle to roll over before landing on its roof.  

No citations were issued.
