Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

No complaints were signed following an alleged battery incident near Yorkville on Friday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 9000 blk. of Rt. 34 at around 9:08 a.m. to investigate a battery report.

Upon investigation, it was found that two subjects were fighting over a recent property transaction.

It was determined that no complaints would be signed at this time.


A Plano man was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for a number of charges, including Aggravated Domestic Battery, in connection with an incident that occurred near Plano on Apr. 13.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, 30-year-old Steven Eaves Jr. of S. Center St. is charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery, Aggravated Battery, Domestic Battery and Interference with the Reporting of Domestic Violence.

The incident occurred in the area of Blackhawk Rd. and Hale St. near Plano on Apr. 13. At the time of the incident, no complaints were signed by the victim against Eaves Jr.

On Aug. 9, charges were filed by the Kendall County State's Attorney's Office against Eaves Jr.

A warrant was issued for Eaves Jr.'s arrest on Wednesday, after which he turned himself into the Kendall County Jail.

Eaves Jr. posted bond; his next court date was set for Oct. 17.


Oswego Police Department:

Officials with the Oswego Police Department are currently investigating an unlawful use of a credit card incident that occurred on Friday.

According to a report, officers responded to the 100 blk. of Douglas Rd. at around 11:07 p.m. to investigate.

No further details were provided.
