Kendall County Sheriff's Office:
A Newark woman was arrested for Domestic Battery following an incident in Newark on Saturday.
According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the 0-99 blk. of E. Lions Ave. at around 1:28 a.m.
Upon investigation, deputies arrested 35-year-old Desiree Chavez of Newark for Domestic Battery.
Chavez was transported to the Kendall County Jail for booking.
Oswego Police Department:
A North Aurora woman was arrested for Possession of Alcohol by a minor following an incident in Oswego on Friday.
According to the Oswego Police Department, officers responded to a business in the 2300 blk. of Rt. 34 at around 8:30 p.m. to investigate.
Upon investigation, officers arrested 18-year-old Jillian Druzgala of McDuffee Cir. for Possession of Alcohol by a Minor.
The report indicates that $38 in merchandise was stolen in the incident, but no Retail Theft charges were indicated.
Druzgala posted bond and was issued at Jul. 2 court date.
Officials with the Oswego Police Department are currently investigating a retail theft incident that occurred on Friday.
According to a report, officers responded to a business in the 3000 blk. of Rt 34 at around 7:00 p.m. to investigate.
Around $261 in merchandise was reported stolen; an investigation is on-going.
Sandwich Police Department:
A Yorkville woman was arrested in Sandwich last weekend for allegedly Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Sandwich Police say 27 year-old Nina Swistara of Mulhern Ct. in Yorkville was arrested on two counts of DUI.
Police arrested her around 4:38 a.m. on Saturday near the corner of S. County Line Rd. and Hickory Loop Dr. in Sandwich.
Swistera posted bond with Sandwich Police and was released with an upcoming court date.
A Crest Hill man is charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in Kendall County.
Sandwich Police say they were the ones to actually make the arrest on 20 year-old Andrew Hesik of N. Prairie Ave.
Police did not specify but say that Sandwich officers arrested Hesik in the 7000 block of Burroughs Ave., which is technically in Plano.
The arrest was made around 2:44 a.m. on Thursday. Hesik was arrested and posted bond with Sandwich Police and was released with an upcoming court date.
