DeKalb County Sheriff's Office:

A Plano man was arrested for DUI and was issued several traffic citations following an incident in Sandwich on Friday.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by 25-year-old Ivan Chavez of W. Rock St. for improper lane usage in the area of S. Main St. and Vale St. at around 2:35 a.m.

Upon investigation, deputies arrested Chavez for DUI; he was additionally cited for Improper Lane Usage and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

Chavez was transported to the DeKalb County Jail for booking.

A Plano woman was arrested for DUI and DUI over .08 following an incident in Sandwich on Friday.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, deputies located 29-year-old Kelly Polk of Deames St. standing outside of her vehicle and vomiting in a parking lot in the 0-100 blk. of Gletty Rd. at around 12:35 a.m.

Deputies conducted a DUI investigation, after which Polk was arrested.

Polk was transported to the Sandwich Police Department for booking, where she later posted bond.

Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating a hit and run that occurred in Newark on Friday.

According to a report, officers responded to the 10000 blk. of Crimmin Rd. at around 9:14 p.m. to investigate.

A vehicle was located and determined to have caused damage to a fence in the area.

Deputies identified a suspected driver.

An investigation is on-going.

Oswego Police Department:

Officials with the Oswego Police Department are currently investigating a fraud incident that occurred on Friday.

According to a report, the incident occurred in the 100 blk. of Chesterfield Dr. at around 9:42 a.m.

A computer fraud was committed. The victim's money was taken from an account via a scam.

An investigation is on-going.

Sandwich Police Department:

A Sandwich man was arrested for Battery following an incident in Sandwich on Monday.

According to the Sandwich Police Department, officers responded to the 1200 blk. of E. Church St. at around 11:18 p.m.

Upon investigation, officers arrested 30-year-old Zachary Neill of Washington for Battery.

Neill was transported to the Sandwich Police Department for booking, where he later posted bond and was released with an upcoming court date.

A Sandwich woman was arrested for DUI following an incident in Sandwich on Tuesday.

According to the Sandwich Police Department, officers responded to the area of Wentworth Dr. and Terry St. at around 1:10 a.m.

Upon investigation, officers arrested 39-year-old Agustina Mendez of Wilshire Dr. for DUI.

Mendez was booked at the Sandwich Police Department, where she posted bond and was later released with an upcoming court date.
