Sandwich Police Department:

A Sandwich man was arrested for Domestic Battery in Sandwich.

Sandwich Police say on Tuesday, police arrested 59 year-old Jose Pantoja Guzman of Wentworth Dr.

At 1:17 a.m. police responded and arrested Guzman in the 300 block of Wentworth Dr. He is charged with two counts of Domestic Battery and was transported to the DeKalb County Jail.


A Sandwich man was arrested for allegedly trespassing in a vehicle and damaging property.

Sandwich Police responded on Tuesday around 12:10 a.m. to the 400 block of Reimann Ave. in Sandwich. Police arrested 20 year-old Austin Freeman of E. 5th St. for counts of Criminal Damage to Property, Criminal Trespass to Property and Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle. Freeman was transported to the DeKalb County Jail.


Oswego Police Department:

A hit and run accident is under investigation in Oswego.

Oswego Police say that an unknown driver allegedly hit a 44 year-old Plano man in the 2500 block of Route 30 around 11:40 p.m. on Friday night.

The Plano man was not injured. Police are continuing to investigate.


A 32 year-old Oswego man was arrested for Domestic Battery on Friday night around 7:03 p.m.

Police in Oswego responded to the 200 block of Fox Chase Dr. North where a resident of the address, Samuel Ramirez Castro, was arrested.

There were no injuries.


Oswego Police are investigating an alleged Domestic Battery where a 20 year-old Chicago woman was injured.

Police responded on Friday night around 7:31 p.m. to the 200 block of Springbrook Trl. S. to take a report.

No arrests have been announced and investigation is ongoing.
