DeKalb County Sheriff's Office:

A Lake Holiday man was arrested on an original DeKalb County warrant for Theft of Labor/Services following a traffic stop in Sandwich on Wednesday.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle being driven by 45-year-old Jeffrey Jensen of Irene Rd. in the area of W. Sandwich Rd. and Pratt Rd. at around 6:05 p.m.

Upon investigation, deputies found that Jensen allegedly had no valid registration, no insurance and an original warrant for Theft of Labor/Services.

Jensen was arrested on the warrant and was transported to the DeKalb County Jail for booking.

Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

A Montgomery man was injured in a two-vehicle accident near Oswego on Wednesday.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the area of Rt. 31 and Caterpillar Dr. at around 8:28 p.m. to investigate.

The sole occupant of one of the vehicles, 34-year-old Gerardo Linares of Savoy Dr., was transported to an area hospital by the Oswego Fire Department for treatment of minor injuries.

No citations were listed.

Oswego Police Department:

Officials with the Oswego Police Department are investigating after counterfeit bills were passed at a business in the village on Wednesday.

According to a report, the incident occurred at a business in the 2900 blk. of Rt. 34.

The suspect allegedly bought merchandise valued at $297 with counterfeit bills.

An investigation is on-going.

Officials with the Oswego Police Department are currently investigating an identity theft incident that occurred at some point between March and April 2019.

According to a report, officers responded to the 500 blk. of Clearwater Ln. at around 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday to investigate.

The victim reported to officers that $1,800 in fraudulent charges were made to their PayPal account.

An investigation is on-going.

Yorkville Police Department:

Officials with the Yorkville Police Department are currently investigating a criminal damage to property incident that occurred on Tuesday.

According to a report, officers responded to the 100 blk. of W. Veterans Pkwy at around 12:25 p.m. to investigate.

Officials say a cigarette disposal receptacle and a landscaping block, valued at $300 and $10 respectively, were damaged.

An investigation is on-going.

Officials with the Yorkville Police Department are currently investigating a fraud incident that occurred on Tuesday.

According to a report, officers responded to the 4500 blk. of Gardiner Ave. at around 12:50 p.m. to investigate.

The complainant allegedly fell victim to an internet scam and lost money.

An investigation is on-going.
