DeKalb County Sheriff's Office:

A Cortland man was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Battery and two counts of Domestic Battery following an incident that occurred in Cortland on Thursday.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 300 blk. of S. Somonauk Rd. at around 2:07 p.m. on Monday to investigate.

Upon investigation, deputies learned that 31-year-old Jorge Martinez-Flores of S. Somonauk Rd. allegedly strangled a victim, causing a loss of consciousness.

Deputies arrested Martinez-Flores following an investigation and transported him to the DeKalb County Jail for booking.


Sandwich Police Department:

A Sandwich woman was arrested for Unlawful Trespassing to a Residence following an incident in Sandwich on Thursday.

According to the Sandwich Police Department, the incident occurred in the 700 blk. of E. 3rd St. at around 6:22 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers arrested 26-year-old Jessica Wilson of Countryside Estates Dr. for Unlawful Trespassing to a Residence.

Wilson posted bond and was given a Jul. 30 court date.
