Kendall County Sheriff's Office:
A Plainfield man was cited in a two-vehicle accident that injured an Oswego man near Plainfield in Na-Au-Say Twp. on Tuesday.
According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the area of Rt. 126 and Ridge Rd. at around 8:18 p.m. to investigate.
Officials say that 79-year-old Bruce Robinson of Oswego was injured in the accident, and was transported to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Deputies cited 53-year-old Adrian Contreras of Plainfield for Failing to Yield - Turning Left after he allegedly turned in front of a vehicle being driven by Robinson.
Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating an identity theft incident that occurred in Minooka on Aug. 27.
According to a report, deputies responded to the 1000 blk. of Bell Rd. at around 8:43 a.m. to investigate.
The complainant reported to deputies that an unknown person ordered merchandise on the internet utilizing her information and credit card.
There are no suspects at this time; an investigation is on-going.
Officials with the Kendall County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating a domestic battery incident that occurred in Boulder Hill on Tuesday.
According to a report, deputies responded to the 0-99 blk. of Codorus Rd. at around 8:01 p.m. to investigate.
No further details were provided; an investigation is on-going.
Oswego Police Department:
Oswego Police officers took a report on Tuesday for a battery that allegedly occurred between two juveniles on Jun. 29.
According to a report, the incident allegedly occurred at Prairie Point Park.
No charges or injuries were listed.
Yorkville Police Department:
A Schaumburg man was cited in a two-vehicle accident that injured a Yorkville woman in Yorkville on Tuesday.
According to the Yorkville Police Department, officers responded to the area of McLellan Blvd. and Grande Trl. at around 7:40 p.m. to investigate.
Upon investigation, officers found that a vehicle being driven by 19-year-old Makaili Woodfork of Allerton Dr. failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a vehicle being driven by 57-year-old Lien Nguyen Stroud of Cranston Cir.
Stroud was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Woodfork was not injured and was cited in the accident for Failure to Yield at an Intersection.
A Chicago Ridge man was arrested for DUI following a single-vehicle accident in Yorkville on Sunday.
According to the Yorkville Police Department, officers responded to the area of Cannonball Trl. and Galena Rd. at around 10:35 p.m. to investigate an accident.
Upon arrival officers spoke with 21-year-old Peter Vasquez of 107th St., who officials say had come from a bar and allegedly did not know which road he was on.
Vasquez allegedly told officers that he fell asleep and drove off the road.
Following a field sobriety test, Vasquez was arrested for DUI; he was additionally cited in the incident for Disobeying a Stop Sign.
An Aurora woman was arrested on a warrant for allegedly stealing a credit card in Yorkville.
Yorkville Police say 22 year-old Skyler Kroll of N. View St. allegedly stole a credit card from an employee of a business in the 0 to 100 block of E. Schoolhouse Rd. on May 13th.
Police took the report the following day.
According to officials, on August 19th, a warrant was issued for felony Unlawful Possession of a Credit Card, felony Unlawful Receiving of a Mislaid Credit Card and theft under $500, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Police in Aurora were investigating a disturbance in the 200 block of Hidden Pond Circle on Friday when Kroll was arrested on the warrant.
