An Aurora man was arrested on a Kendall County warrant on Wednesday for two counts of Unlawful Video Recording, a Class 4 felony, following a three-month long investigation in Oswego.
According to the Oswego Police Department, officers received a report on May 9, 2019 that 19-year-old Lukas Pawlowski of Rainwood Dr. had allegedly made a video recording of an adult female victim without her consent in a restroom and in a residence on Mansfield Way.
Oswego Police's investigation led to the Kendall County State's Attorney's Office approving two felony counts of Unlawful Video Recording, a Class 4 felony, against Pawlowski.
Kendall County Court records indicate that a warrant for Pawlowski's arrest was issued on Jul. 25.
Pawlowski was taken into custody by Kendall County Sheriff's deputies on Wednesday, and was transported to the Kendall County Jail for booking.
Officials say Pawlowski posted bond; he has an upcoming court date on Sept. 18.
