A juvenile was taken into custody for alleged possession of a weapon following an incident in Aurora on Tuesday.
According to the Aurora Police Department, officers responded to the 800 blk. of Spruce St. at around 3:15 p.m. following reports of a person with a weapon in the 800 blk. of Spruce St.
Upon arrival, officers allegedly spotted a teenager matching the same description that was given to 911 dispatchers.
The suspect allegedly ran from the scene, resulting in a foot chase. Officials say the teenager ran into a home in the 100 blk. of N. Highland and allegedly would not respond to request from officers to come out.
