Oswego Police say an Aurora teen was issued a personal recognizance bond in a disorderly conduct incident where the teen allegedly obstructed police on Sunday night.

According to a report, police were called around 11:09 p.m. to the 1800 block of Route 30 between Wolf's Crossing and Gastville St. heading toward Aurora.

Police say 18 year-old Michael Smith Jr. was detained by police at Rush Copley Hospital, following an incident where Smith allegedly obstructed police.

He is charged with Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing a Peace Officer and was cited for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.

Police said no injuries occurred. The $1500 personal recognizance bond was posted and Smith has an upcoming court date in July.
