Officials with the Batavia Police Department are investigating a number of incidents involving robbery and armed robbery that have occurred in recent days.
According to a press release, officers responded to the report of a robbery at an apartment building in the 1200 blk. of E. Wilson St. at around 8:05 p.m. on Monday.
The victim advised that two male subjects approached within a common area inside of a building and demanded money.
The victim reportedly had a piece of jewelry that was removed by the suspects; the jewelry was later recovered at the scene.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The suspects were described by the victim as being black males between 23 and 28-years-of-age. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anyone matching the description given by the victim.
On Tuesday at around 6:31 p.m. a uniformed police officer was stopped by a citizen at the same apartment building while on patrol.
The citizen reported a robbery that occurred earlier in the day at around 12:45 p.m. The victim was reportedly stopped in the stairwell by two black men who proceeded to grab them and remove money.
One of the suspects was described as 5'10' and 150 pounds, while the other was described as 5'6'' and 140 pounds.
It's unknown whether the same suspects were involved in both incidents; an investigation is on-going.
On Wednesday, officers responded to a business in the 1300 blk. of Wind Energy Pass for a report of an armed robbery in progress at around 10:50 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to an employee who stated that two male subjects entered the business dressed in all black clothing and wearing ski masks. One of the subjects was carrying a baseball bat.
The subjects demanded and received an unknown amount of cash and a bottle of liquor.
Following the incident, the subjects fled on foot from the area in an unknown direction. Officers were unable to locate either subject.

Batavia Police officials also say that a Batavia man was arrested on Tuesday for numerous offenses including two counts of Residential Burglary following recent incidents.
Officers arrested 20-year-old Tobias Granberg of N. Mallory Ave. for two counts of Burglary, two counts of Residential Burglary, Forgery and Unlawful Use of a Credit Card.
Granberg was arrested in connection with his alleged involvement in residential burglaries that took place Friday in the 700 blk. of Houston St. and Monday in the 300 blk. of Whipple Ave.
