The Sandwich City Council will discuss and vote on a new employment contract for City Engineer/Public Works Director Tom Horak at Monday's 7:00 p.m. meeting.

Horak currently makes $137,293.49 in salary, other compensation and benefits.  He also receives 25 vacation days, 15 days of sick leave and four personal days.

In other business at Monday night's meeting, Sandwich aldermen will hear a report from Horak regarding sidewalk and curb ramp improvements around Woodbury Elementary School, including work at 3rd St., Washington St., Lafayette St., and 2nd St.

A liquor license request from former Chicago Bears offensive lineman Kurt Becker is also on the agenda.

The Sandwich City Council will also vote Monday night on an ordinance amending the city's sexual harassment policy to comply with state law.

There will also be a discussion at Monday's meeting regarding a Special Use Permit from Summit Ridge Energy for a 13-acre solar field on Somonauk Rd.

The Sandwich City Council will also discuss the construction of a midblock sidewalk crossing at the Fox Valley Older Adult Services on W. Center St. that would be used to access the Sandwich Fairgrounds.

Monday's meeting will be in the City Hall Annex at 128 E. Railroad St.  Again the meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
