Cold weather has moved into the WSPY listening area and while the weekend will be slightly warmer, the cold temperatures return for the start of next week and on Veterans Day.

As Meteoroligist Mike Spiel has been reporting on the forecast, Thursday's high temperature is 32 degrees and conditions will be breezy. Thursday night, clear and cold conditions drop the low to only 13 degrees.

Friday will be just as cold with a high at 31 but temperatures start to rise Friday night into Saturday where breezy conditions are also met with milder temperatures and a high of 45. Look for a risk of a spotty shower or two, late Saturday. Sunday, a high of 44 degrees will round out the weekend.

On Veterans Day, temperatures become even colder. On Monday, a high of 29 degrees will make any outdoor activities chilly. Tuesday, the high only reaches 27 degrees.

The National Weather Service is reporting that Veterans Day could become the coldest on record in the region.
