A Corning, New York woman was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance following a traffic stop on I-80 eastbound in LaSalle County on Sunday.
According to the Illinois State Police, a trooper pulled over a vehicle being driven by 24-year-old Englund Horgan of Corning, New York in the area of mile post 75 on I-80 eastbound at around 10:55 p.m.
During the course of the stop, the trooper determined that Horgan's driver's license was suspended. The trooper also allegedly observed indicators of criminal activity.
A subsequent probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which allegedly revealed approximately one gram of suspected heroin.
The trooper arrested Horgan for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Driving While License Suspended.
Horgan was transported to the LaSalle County Jail for booking.
