A Cortland man is facing several charges in connection with the alleged strangulation of a victim.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office says that 25 year-old Kameron Farmer of Somonauk Rd. in Cortland, is charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery and two counts of Domestic Battery.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a residence in the 300 block of Somonauk Rd. around 1:35 p.m. on Monday for the report of a domestic disturbance.
According to a report, Farmer allegedly strangled a female victim, who was unable to breath and allegedly sustained marks on her throat and a small laceration.
The sheriff's office says Farmer allegedly pushed the female to the ground and also pushed a female family member of his at the scene. Authorities did not report if either of the victims required hospital transport.
Farmer was taken into custody and was transported to the DeKalb County Jail for booking.
