Despite snow this past Sunday, the Easter weekend forecast around the WSPY listening area is shaping up to be quite nice.

Friday's temperature will be cooler with a high around 53 degrees and mostly cloudy skies. Into Saturday, the forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and mild conditions with a high of 64.

On Easter Sunday, increasing clouds and mild conditions will be in the forecast with a high of 72 degrees.

Listeners will have to endure some more rain before the weekend. Tonight, showers are expected late and could continue with possible thunderstorms until midday on Wednesday.

Showers and storms could return late on Wednesday night and would diminish by Thursday afternoon.
