A male, who has not been further identified, died in a single-vehicle crash in Plainfield on Saturday.
Plainfield Police officials say the man struck a tree and the vehicle rolled over. Police indicated in a post on Saturday morning that the crash occurred on 127th St. between Route 59 and Book Rd.
Police announced the closure at 10:00 a.m. and the roadway reopened about 40 minutes later.
Police officials say the male was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
