A four-year-old boy was found safe after he was said be in a van that was stolen from a gas station in suburban Bridgeview Monday. Police suspect the subject did not realize the boy was in the car at the time.
The van was stolen at around 5:30 at night, an amber alert was issued at around 8. Notice that the boy was found and was sent around ten by Illinois State Police.
The car had been spotted by a Chicago Police license plate reader in the city, but it is unclear if that's what led to finding the boy.
