He has never met the children, all whom benefit from his community service.

But they are thankful this Thanksgiving Day.

Gary Mullis of DeKalb has been thinking of them for his 50th Country Music Show and Toy Drive. That event will be held Sunday (Dec. 1st) from 1-5 p.m. at the Taylor Street Plaza Hi-Rise in DeKalb, where admission is a new toy for a boy or girl.

Music is a large part of Gary’s life; he plays drums and talked about the tunes and musicians.

At age 75, Gary remembers his toys and also tells what people bring to this event.

What do people bring to this giving event?

There will be tributes during the day and a big treat.

This Sunday, one smile and one toy can make a Christmas difference this year.  The season of thanks and giving is upon us.
