A Hazel Crest man was arrested for Obstructing Identification following an incident near Montgomery early Thursday morning.
According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle for speeding near the intersection of Orchard Rd. and Brentwood Ave. at around 12:10 a.m.
Upon investigation deputies found that a passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old Daniel Shepard of Shea Ave., was wanted on a Cook County no bond warrant for Theft.
Shepard was taken into custody on the warrant, and was additionally charged with Obstructing Identification after he allegedly provided deputies with a false name.
Deputies transported Shepard to the Kendall County Jail for booking.
