One person was injured in a crash in Plano on Wednesday.
Plano Police say that officers responded to Rock Creek Rd. and Miller Rd. around 4:27 p.m. to investigate the motor vehicle accident.
According to a report, an 83 year-old Plano woman was attempting to make a turn onto Miller Rd. when her vehicle collided head on with a vehicle being driven on Rock Creek Rd. by 40 year-old Aracely Valdiviezo of Sandwich.
Police allege that the Plano woman failed to yield the right of way to Valdiviezo, however, no citations have been issued at this time. The Plano woman was not injured.
Valdiviezo was transported from the scene to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the crash is still under further investigation.
