Yorkville Police say two juveniles have now been charged with Mob Action and Aggravated Battery following an altercation at Yorkville High School last week.
Police officials announced on Monday night that last Thursday at approximately 9:45 a.m., Yorkville High School administration reported to police that two 16-year-old students allegedly physically harmed a 15-year-old student at Yorkville High School.
An investigation was conducted and on Monday, charges were filed against the two 16 year-old juveniles.
Police and district officials did not indicate if the juveniles were taken to juvenile detention or if they were released to guardians.
