The Kendall County Sheriff's Office partnered with other police agencies across the county on Wednesday for the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
According to a press release, the run is the largest fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Illinois.
Local law enforcement officers, deputies, families and friends helped to carry the torch through the 3.8 mile run, which began at the Orchard Rd. Walmart and ended at Hudson Park in Oswego.
They were met at Hudson Park by many Special Olympics athletes, family and friends.
Sheriff's Office officials say they want to thank everyone who donated and showed support for the event.
