Several area banks have restrictions in place to protect against the COVID-19 pandemic and some branches are closing.
Officials at First National Bank told WSPY on Tuesday that the Sandwich, Oswego and Sugar Grove branches will be closed to protect customers and employees.
However, the Yorkville drive-up location of First National Bank will remain open during business hours to help with banking needs.
Bank officials posted online as well that the closures and modifications were part of the governor's ask to stay at home.
Several other banks have restricted lobby access out of precaution.
At Old Second National Bank, which has locations in Plano, Yorkville and Sugar Grove, among others, lobby access is mostly by appointment only. Access to safety deposit boxes and other items would be granted. Old Second additionally has drive-thru service open during normal business hours.
Officials did say that the lobby at the Old Second location on Orchard Rd. in Aurora is closed, but it is due to maintenance taking place.
Heartland Bank and Trust, with locations in Sandwich, Plano, Somonauk, and elsewhere said they have similar restrictions to lobby access by appointment.
