Several area law enforcement agencies participated in "No Shave November," an annual fundraising event for local not-for-profit organizations.

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office says they participated again this year by putting down their razors in order to donate. Other departments like Montgomery Police, Aurora Police and several others also participated.

In Kendall County, sheriff's office employees made recommendations for which not-for-profit organization would receive the donation, and this year the Sheriff’s Office has chosen to donate funds raised during “No Shave November” to Badge of Life.

The organization is a non-profit organization based out of Streamwood which is dedicated to educate and train law enforcement about mental health and suicide prevention.

Deputies and employees participated or made donations to the fundraiser, raising a total of $1,080.00.
