An Ottawa man was airlifted in a motorcycle accident in LaSalle County, south of Ottawa.
The LaSalle County Sheriff's Office says that on Tuesday around 4:29 p.m. deputies investigated the motorcycle accident in the 1300 block of N. 2401st Rd.
A 24 year-old Dean Thomas of Ottawa was eastbound on the roadway when he allegedly failed to negotiate the curve and left the roadway to the south.
The sheriff's office says Thomas was thrown from the motorcycle and after initial treatment from Grand Ridge EMS on scene, was airlifted to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
No citations were issued and no other injuries were reported.
