UPDATE:

A Chicago man, who was wanted for Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding in Kendall County and was recently arrested in Lake County, is now facing a number of additional charges and citations, locally.

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Jody Skowronski on Friday afternoon in connection with a weekly Facebook posting called "Fugitive Friday."

The sheriff's office said that Libertyville Police arrested Skowronski, of W. Roscoe St. in Chicago, based on a tip provided from an anonymous caller. Skowronski had previously been posted about on the sheriff's office's page.

Skowronski had been wanted in connection with an alleged fleeing and eluding incident that occurred in Plano. Kendall County Court records show the case stems back to August of this year.

Court and Kendall County Jail booking records from Saturday now show several additional offenses for Skowronski, including Street Racing and counts of Driving on a Suspended or Revoked License, in addition to counts of Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding and a warrant. Numerous traffic citations were also filed.

In addition to the most recent case, court records show numerous criminal and traffic cases in Kendall County dating back to the 1990's for Skowronski.

This wasn't the first time Skowronski had been listed on Kendall County's wanted list. WSPY reported in 2016 that Skowronski, previously of Mendota, was arrested by the San Diego, California Police Department on several warrants from Kendall County and other local jurisdictions.

Skowronski remains held in the Kendall County Jail.
