An Aurora man, who was wanted on a warrant for drug possession in Kendall County, was arrested on Friday.
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office says 38 year-old Cortney Humphries of North May Street was arrested on a warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2100 block of Rochester Drive in Montgomery.
Kendall County Court records also show other civil citations for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a traffic violation for No Drivers License had been filed.
The cases date back to 2017.
The sheriff's office says Humphries was arrested as a result of a tip through the department's "Fugitive Friday" posting.
Humphries was transported to the Kendall County Jail where he was released after posting bond and was released from custody with an upcoming court date.
