A 34-year-old Marseilles woman, who was accused of filing a false report about an "armed officer" she said came to her residence, was recently sentenced in LaSalle County.
Fallon Crass pleaded guilty to filing a false police report, a class four felony and was placed on 30 months of probation.
Crass must also serve 90 days in the LaSalle County Jail and receive medical and mental treatment.
Police were told by Crass that an armed officer came to her residence on Clark Street in Marseilles regarding a noise complaint in late January of 2020.
After further discussion with the alleged suspect/armed officer, Crass said the man got into a black SUV and traveled west on Clark Street.
Investigators said Crass made up the story and she was charged.
