Montgomery police were called to the 1800 block of Waverly Way on Monday. Police made contact with 37-year-old Kara A. Nottingham who is alleged to have struck a family member. Nottingham was taken to the Kane County Jail.
Nottingham is charged with domestic battery and violation of bail bond.
