Our sister station WCSJ reports that one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred near Morris on Tuesday.
The crash happened in the 3000 block of Cemetery Road around 5:30 p.m.
The Grundy County Sheriff’s Department said a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old male from Morris was traveling eastbound and attempted to turn into a driveway in the 3000 block of Cemetery Road.
As a result, the male struck a motorcycle operated by 63 year-old Brad Hexdall of Morris. Hexdall was transported to Morris Hospital with serious injuries.
An update on his condition has not been released. The juvenile was cited for failing to yield when turning left.
