Two Sandwich women and a Sandwich man were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Plano on Friday.
According to the Plano Police Department, officers responded along with Little Rock-Fox EMS to the 15000 blk. of W. Rt. 34 at around 6:09 p.m. to investigate.
Upon arrival, officers found one of the vehicles was on its side with two occupants still inside.
After an initial investigation, officers found that a vehicle being driven by 82-year-old Caroll Ohligschlager of Sandwich allegedly failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle being driven by 27-year-old Kayla Hennessey of Sandwich.
Ohligschlager and a passenger in her vehicle, 85-year-old Edward Ohligschlager of Sandwich, were both transported to a local hospital to be treated for unknown injuries.
Hennessey was also transported by Little Rock-Fox EMS to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
No citations were issued.
