No injuries were reported to civilians or firefighters following a reported structure fire at a restaurant in Aurora on Saturday.
According to the Aurora Fire Department, crews were called to an activated fire alarm in the 4200 blk. of Fox Valley Center Dr.
Upon arrival, crews found a restaurant that was closed with no visible signs of smoke or fire from the exterior.
Upon gaining entry, firefighters encountered light to moderate smoke inside the building and upgraded the alarm to a structure fire.
The fire was quickly located and extinguished.
The Kane County Health Department and property standards were contacted and will determine when the business can reopen.
