Yorkville Police say no injuries were reported in an Armed Robbery that occurred at a business on Wednesday night.
In an update on Thursday morning, police officials said that a liquor store in the 300 block of North Bridge Street was robbed at 8:44 p.m.
Police have now reported that $1,900 in cash and a couple of bottles of alcohol were taken.
Police say the alleged offenders are described as two black males who were wearing masks, one was armed with a handgun.
The offenders fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and active. Yorkville Police were assisted on scene by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, Oswego Police Department, Plano Police Department and the Kendall County Criminal Intelligence Team.
