Oswego Police Master Sergeant Michael Barajas recently graduated from a special training program focusing on leadership.

Barajas participated in a ten week program put on Northwestern University's Center for Public Safety - School of Police Staff and Command. Barajas received training in leadership, human resources, employee relations, resource allocation, and more.

The Oswego Police Department anticipates many benefits of Barajas' training.

The program was started in 1983 and has since graduated 25,000 officers. The program was held in Plainfield. Barajas graduated with a class of 39 students.
