Oswego resident Len Wass, a U.S. Navy veteran, will conclude a two-part presentation on the holocaust next week.

"The Nazi Holocaust in World War II" takes place on Tuesday, July 16, at Grandma's Table Restaurant at 1700 Douglas Ave. in Montgomery.

The public is invited. Wass will keynote a 5:45 p.m. monthly dinner meeting by Aurora Navy League Council 247. Dinners will be available for $21 or $13.

Wass' presentation will open with slides of concentration camps in Auschwitz, Birkeanau and Terezin.

His main feature will be a 90-minute video titled "The Decent One," the story of Heinrich Himmler. One of Adolph Hitler's inner-circle, Himmler created and oversaw Nazi SS, SA, and Gestapo units. He also oversaw all concentration camps and implemented the Nazi's extermination of Jews in the Third Reich.

The award winning documentary, 10 years in the making, features actors portraying Himmler, his wife and daughter.
