A Plano man was arrested on a number of charges after he allegedly inappropriately touched a juvenile at the Sandwich Fair on Saturday.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, 46-year-old Marc Thornton is charged with Disorderly Conduct, Battery and Resisting Arrest.
Deputies responded to the fairgrounds at around 7:47 p.m. after it was reported that he had inappropriately touched a juvenile while waiting in line for a ride.
While deputies were investigating the incident, Thornton allegedly attempted to leave the scene after being told by a deputy that he could not.
Thornton allegedly pushed a deputy in an attempt to leave; no injuries were reported.
Deputies arrested Thornton and transported him to the DeKalb County Jail for booking.
