A Plano man was sentenced this week to 11 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after he was arrested last summer on charges for cocaine sales and possession.
As WSPY previously reported, 48 year-old Todd Brewick of Alyssa St. was charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance and counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
Kendall County Police Assistance Team officials said last year that Brewick was arrested in August of 2019 on a warrant at his residence where cocaine and other items were found.
According to Kendall County Court records, Brewick accepted a plea agreement on a charge and was sentenced on Thursday by Kendall County Judge Robert Pilmer in lieu of trial setting.
Court records indicate a 402 conference, or a conference to discuss terms had previously been held.
Following the completion of his sentence, Brewick will be required to serve two years of mandatory supervised release.
Kendall County Jail records show Brewick has remained in custody at the jail since he was booked on August 2, 2019.
